Spring 2026
An invitation to inaugurate a hall built for your art.
Dear [Vidushi / Pandit Artist Name],
With deep reverence, I write on behalf of the Hindu University of America to invite you to give the inaugural recital at the new HUA Center for the Sacred Arts at our Pine Lake campus in Florida.
The center is the first of its kind on the East Coast: a 350-seat hall purpose-built for the acoustics of Indian classical music, an outdoor amphitheater, a professional recording studio, and a new BA / MA in Sacred Performing Arts. Your name on the opening evening would matter to us more than we can say.
Terms we are pleased to offer:
- Honorarium: $25,000, plus full travel and lodging for artist and one accompanist team.
- 2 nights at Pine Lake guest residence; ground transport from Orlando International.
- A 60-minute masterclass with HUA students the morning after the recital (optional).
- High-fidelity recording rights for the HUA Sacred Label, terms to be agreed in advance.
- Livestream broadcast with non-exclusive archival rights, royalty-shared per IFPI guidelines.
We are holding three potential dates: October 18, November 8, or December 6, 2026. We will adapt around your schedule.
You would be the first voice this hall hears. We can think of no one more right.
With folded hands,
